Meet The Zerorez UK Team

Shawn D. Moon

CEO, DIRECTOR & BOARD MEMBER OF BOTH THE USA AND UK COMPANIES

Shawn is our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since September 2017; previously he served as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Moon has over 35 years of executive experience, having spent over 25 years with the FranklinCovey Company where he served as the Executive Vice President and had responsibility for the company's direct offices and operations globally. He was also a principle with Mellon Financial. Since joining as CEO, Mr. Moon has transformed Zerorez, increasing revenue, profitability, and securing private equity funding with PE firm Banner Ventures. For his accomplishments, he was recently named as a finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year. Mr. Moon is a Wall Street Journal best-selling author, and he and his wife live at the base of the Wasatch Mountains and have 4 children 7 wonderful grandchildren.

Ben Hulme

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Ben has been our Chief Operating Officer since August 2020. In this capacity he oversees the Training, Franchise Development, International, and IT Departments. In this role he leads the strategy for each department and ensures our franchises have all the tools, support and systems to be successful. Mr. Hulme was also our Director of Marketing from April 2019 to July 2021. Mr. Hulme was the General Manager of Zerorez Phoenix, one of our franchisees, in Phoenix, Arizona from June 2013 to August 2020 and the Tucson franchise owner from 2014 through 2020. Previous to Zerorez he was a Territory Manager for Safety-Kleen. Ben lives in a mountain town in Utah and enjoys being outdoors biking, hiking and skiing with his family.

Jon Laudie

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jon has been our CFO since July 2022. As the CFO, he oversees the finance and accounting functions of the company and participates in developing corporate strategy. Prior to joining Zerorez, Jon was the Vice President of Finance at SeekWell (1-800 Contacts). He also spent time leading the finance function at Lucid Software and a number of years building out various parts of the finance team at Ancestry. In his free time Jon loves to golf, play music, and explore the Utah backcountry on his mountain bike.

Bill De Groot

CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Bill has been Chief Marketing Officer at Zerorez since the fall of 2022. In this capacity, he oversees marketing efforts to benefit and support the global Zerorez franchise network. This includes providing insights, strategies, marketing collateral, and marketing training for franchisees. Prior to joining Zerorez, Bill held various marketing and leadership roles at Ancestry (including as GM of Ancestry Canada) and Procter & Gamble. Bill lives in Utah with his wife and three daughters.
